Course Description

Welcome to our Introducing SQL course, for beginners to the programming language for relational database design and manipulation. In this short course, you will learn the basics of SQL, including how to create and manipulate databases, tables, and queries.​ By the end of the course, you will have a foundation in SQL programming and be able to apply your knowledge to real-world scenarios. Suitability: This introduction course is suitable for very beginners to anyone who has spent a length of time away from programming in SQL and would like to re-visit how to SQL queries and to boost their confidence levels. Course Content: * Introduction to SQL * Databases and Data types * Arithmetic, and Logical Operators * SQL Statements * Creating and Querying Tables * Creating a Working Database Course Duration: This is a 6 hour online tutor guided learning course, set over 2 to 3 days. One-to-one tuition can be accommodated, please contact us for further advice. Our friendly team will contact you prior to the start of the course, to ensure you are set up and ready and will provide help to you if you require assistance.


Cancellation Policy

CANDIDATE CANCELLATION OF A TRAINING COURSE: If you need to cancel your place on a training course, you must notify Robinson Education via email no less than 48 hours before the course start date. You will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place less than 24 hours before the course start date, you will receive a full refund less an admin fee of 10% of the course fee. NON-ATTENDANCE AT A TRAINING COURSE: If you fail to attend the course you are booked onto without giving prior notice to Robinson Education, we will be unable to refund the course fees or offer a transfer.
